Step 1.

Today I've opened the tanks for some re-shaping and rust check...

this is how 70 years of rust looks like

Way better after the first round of sand blasting

Obviously not that bad in the oil side

Ready for some more cutting and an anti rust Tankerite coating

Let it snow

The Sumo front fender

I've mounted a roda legal tyre on the Sumo, but this caused a big problem

The front fender looked too high, almost good for an off-road bike... 

so, after some cutting-bending-welding etc.

 

 

 

It now looks just fine
